Righteous Gelato

The company says Righteous began as a gelato shop in Calgary in 2009, and says it is independently owned. Independent ownership does not establish the citizenship or nationality of the ultimate owner. An August 2026 company article explicitly states that every pint is made, frozen and packed in Calgary, establishing Canadian manufacture of its pints. Imported ingredients, including fruit sourced from outside Canada, prevent an unsupported blanket Product of Canada claim. Canadian-made pints support Partially Made in Canada = yes for a documented part of the assortment.
