Privacy
This page describes, plainly, what data TryCanadian handles.
My List
My List is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. It is not sent to our servers, and we cannot see what you've saved. It stays on the device and browser you saved it in and is cleared if you clear your browser's site data.
Submissions
The "Submit a Canadian Alternative" form may include an optional email address if you'd like a reply. Submitted information — including any email address provided — is used only to review the suggested Canadian alternative and, if we have a follow-up question, to contact you about it.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure and database provider may keep normal server/request logs (such as IP address, timestamps and requested pages) for operational and security purposes. We don't operate any separate analytics or tracking on top of that.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. We can't claim zero tracking of any kind — normal hosting logs exist, as described above — and this page isn't a substitute for legal advice; it's a plain description of current practice, which may be updated as the site evolves.
