Rocanini Coffee Roasters is an independent British Columbia coffee company founded in 2010 and based in Vancouver. Frank Zheng has been publicly identified as one of the company's owners. No foreign parent company or acquisition was identified, but current beneficial ownership and the citizenship of all individual owners could not be independently verified; Canadian ownership is therefore left unconfirmed.
Rocanini roasts all of its coffee at its Vancouver, BC roastery and states that it only sells coffee it roasts itself. Green coffee beans are sourced from international coffee-growing regions, including Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico and Yemen. The coffee is therefore roasted and processed in Canada from imported ingredients and should not be classified as Product of Canada.
