Save-On-Foods is part of Pattison Food Group within The Jim Pattison Group, a Canadian private corporate group. Its Overwaitea predecessor opened a store in New Westminster, BC, in 1915; the Save-On-Foods banner emerged later (1982). Do not confuse the 1915 founding of the corporate predecessor with the launch of the Save-On-Foods name. Current head office is Langley, BC. | Targeted 2026-10-08 evidence check: Jim Pattison Group ultimate ownership, BC grocery predecessors and 1982 banner split, Langley corporate office, grocery retailer manufacturing inapplicable.. Material identity, ultimate controller and Canadian HQ have existing primary corroboration.

Grocery retailing is distinct from manufacturing. Carrying Canadian-grown or Canadian-made goods does not establish that the retailer manufactures its full assortment. Made in Canada, Product of Canada and portfolio-level manufacturing status remain unknown.
